Originally from the Appalachian hills of New York State, artist and writer Elizabeth Moore explores the natural and mental landscape spanning works on paper, print, book forms and illumination from her studio base in Copenhagen, Denmark. Work draws from the relationship between physical surroundings and the implosion of internal thought. Revolving around that which is felt and fumbled with in daily life, concepts and projects explore the minutia of the mundane. Focus is on time-worn techniques including metals and pigments ground by hand, composing elemental and tactile surfaces, hybrids between the photographic eye and the skilled hand.

The art studio spills over into engagement with clients, students and learners of all ages through education and workshop, crafting greater understanding of media, fabrication and expression with each fingertip.
